Proxma AG aims to become one of the leading European software distributors. The team of founders consists of three very experienced branch insiders who have been involved in software distribution for over 10 years and discovered top selling products such as WinDVD, PestPatrol, Zonealarm, Sygate and Micrografx and made these available on the German-language market.

Via excellent, long-term existing contacts to software customers such as Deutsche Telekom, GMX, Telekom Austria, Bertelsmann, Vogel Burda, Avanquest, BHV, Sybex, Koch Media and Toshiba, Proxma AG has turned into what is – even for its founders – an exceptional and unexpected success story – even shortly after being founded.

Alongside the three founders there are 10 other employees in the company in positions of responsibility. Proxma AG is 100% self-financed and is thus not subject to any influence from external investors. Today, the company operates a number of very high-access ESD platforms, including the download portal www.pro.de.
